An early 7.30 start at Marygreen Manor saw business men and women meet up to hear more about the Brentwood Business Showcase which was sponsoring the event.

The event which takes place on November 1, saw Platinum Sponsors Wortley Byers Law share a table with the Chamber, and business – including Carmel Jane photography. The offer for a free promotional photograph taken at the Showcase event has proved incredibly popular and all exhibitor space has sold out.

Around half of all those who have registered to attend come from outside the Brentwood area which means exhibitors will have a great opportunity to connect with new business leads on the day.

Leader, Cllr Louise McKinlay said: “Brentwood is a great place to do business and the Showcase is our flagship event so its great to see businesses really getting behind the town and this exhibition in particular.”

Louise, who is also Cabinet Member, Resources at Essex County Council went straight from the Chamber of Commerce Breakfast to a radio interview with BBC’s Ronnie Barber to discuss the showcase and her shortlisting for Leader of the Year – the only council leader in Essex to make the shortlist.
